June is National Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month

Project Pearl, a non-profit organization working in partnership with Forsyth County’s Department of Animal Control, is promoting June’s National Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month!  In an effort to encourage cat adoptions at Forsyth County Animal Control, Project Pearl is proud to sponsor cats over the age of one year for the month of June. ALL cats age one year or older will have an adoption fee of $22.

Project Pearl was voted #1 Non-Profit in Winston Salem by the Winston Salem Journal’s Readers Choice Awards for the 2nd year in a row and #1 Non-Profit by Smitty's Notes this year. Since their efforts have begun, Forsyth County Animal Control has seen record-breaking increases in adoptions and re-homing (adoptions, transfers, redemptions) ever.

Forsyth County Animal Control is open for adoptions as follows:

Monday – Wednesday - Saturday Noon until 5:00 PM

Tuesday – Thursday Noon until 7:00 PM
