County offices closed for Fourth of July

Forsyth County government offices will be closed, except for essential personnel, on Friday, July 3, for Independence Day and will reopen Monday, July 6, at 8 a.m. Libraries will be closed on both Friday and Saturday.

Due to gathering restrictions because of COVID-19, firework shows have been canceled at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem as well as those held by the towns of Kernersville and Lewisville. Use of fireworks are prohibited at county parks, and no fireworks shows are planned at any county park.

Have a happy and safe Fourth!
