The Artful Plate

The Art of Food has been around for centuries; cultures around the world identify themselves by the uniqueness of their plated foods bringing pleasure to our daily lives, bringing people together to feast on lavishly created foods. Food in and of itself has an appeal greater than just hunger. The artistic combination and beauty food has to offer inspires people to get creative in the kitchen.

Join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, as we learn 4 different techniques linked to food art: Focaccia Bread Art, The Mandala Plate (designs that bring balance to your life), Fruit & Vegetable Carving, and Charcuterie Board creations.

This is an Online Series offered in September, on Wednesdays, from 10:00 AM to 11:30AM.

The schedule is as follows:

• Focaccia Bread Art - September 6th
• Mandala Plate - September 13th
• Fruit & Vegetable Carving - September 20th
• Charcuterie Boards - September 27th
