Healthy Forsyth holding Community Conversations on health barriers

Healthy Forsyth will be holding Community Conversations to get input on barriers to healthy living, with sessions both for the general public and for seniors who live in the 27101, 27105 and 27107 zip codes.

The Healthy Forsyth Coalition is inviting the public to its Community Conversations to find out their thoughts and ideas about their neighborhood and problems that prevent them from living a healthy life.

The first 25 participant will receive free food and a gift card at each meeting.

Healthy Forsyth Coalition is a grant-funded program by Duke Endowment to address chronic conditions in zip codes 27101, 27105 & 27107. It connects community members to resources and will hold listening sessions to determine strategic priorities to remove barriers to care of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and mental health. The program includes strategic partners from Forsyth County Public Health, Novant Health, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, local medical clinics, nonprofit organizations and community residents.
