Detention Sergeant John R. Ball Retires

Detention Sergeant John Ball began his law enforcement career in 1992.

Detention Sergeant Ball earned several promotions throughout his career with his last promotion to the rank of Sergeant on January 13, 2018.

During his career, Detention Sergeant Ball earned the Honorary Rank of Private First Class/Senior Floor Officer, several letters of commendation, and the 25 Years Service Commendation Bar.

Detention Sergeant Ball received several certifications and the NCDOJ Intermediate Service Award.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Detention Sergeant John Ball all the best in his future endeavors.
