Detention Officer III T. Hall, has held various positions with this agency, from Telecommunicator to Classification Specialist to Detention Officer. Regardless of her role, she is a blessing to this agency. Officer Hall is the liaison between the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) and the District Attorney’s Office. During the first week of June, multiple residents of the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention center were at Baptist Hospital receiving medical treatment which strained staffing all across the agency. A member of the Command Staff contacted Officer Hall and requested any assistance she could offer. As the liaison, Officer Hall worked to obtain confirmation from the District Attorney’s Office as well as the signature of a District Court Judge on release paperwork for this resident with a long term medical issue. Officer Hall’s performance not only alleviated some of the stress associated with the staffing issue that the FCSO was experiencing, but also relieved the Forsyth County tax payers from the ever increasing financial burden of this resident’s medical expenses. Officer Hall was able to facilitate this request while continuing to complete three other Release Orders prior to the close of business the same day. At no point did Officer Hall complain about receiving this request late in the afternoon or the existing orders she was tasked to complete. This is just one of many examples as to why Officer Hall was selected as the Detention Staff Member of the Month for June 2023.
