NOTICE FOR POSSIBLE SECOND RECOUNT

The Forsyth County Board of Elections hereby notices for the conduct of a second recount if a second recount is requested by an eligible candidate under N.C.G.S. 163-182.7A. Only a contest eligible to be recounted under these provisions will be subject to the recount. The second recount will begin on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until the possible recount is completed. The recount will be conducted in the in the Cooper-Cardwell Room on the second floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, NC.

Members of the public may attend the meeting, but space may be limited. If no such second recount is requested, it will be cancelled. Please contact the Board of Elections office at (336) 703-2800 for more information.
