Using Storm Water to Help Your Garden Grow

Join Jon Hanna, Public Works Director for the Town of Lewisville, for an informative session on utilizing storm water in your garden. Learn eco-friendly techniques to conserve water and nurture your plants. This workshop is perfect for gardening enthusiasts and those interested in sustainable water management practices.

Water is a vital – and finite – resource for all living creatures, including all of us in Forsyth County. Creek Week helps us “connect the dots” between quality of life and the health of creeks and streams, not only as a water source, but as a source of recreation and aesthetic pleasure.
Creek Week offers recreational activities, hands-on learning experiences, dynamic guest speakers, children’s activities and many other ways to appreciate, enjoy and protect our creeks and streams.
This event is part of Forsyth Creek Week, taking place from March 22-30, 2025. This week-long celebration offers various activities to help our community appreciate and protect our local creeks and streams. Join us in connecting with our vital water resources through recreation, learning, and hands-on experiences!
