Pollution levels, thoughout the Triad, have lowered back to code GREEN, Thursday, in response to the heavy widepsread rainfall, Wednesday. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected, Thursday afternoon and evening, which will add to more cleansing of the air mass, resulting in code GREEN ozone and particle pollution, Friday. The unsettled weather pattern will persist, through the weekend, not allowing any buidup of low level pollution, leading to code GREEN Saturday and Sunday (GENTRY).

The Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection is making data available from the county's air monitoring network as a public service. These data represent the hourly data set from all of the sites within this network. Data from Triad sites outside of Forsyth County are collected by the North Carolina Division of Air Quality.
