During the week of January 6th, to be compliant with CJIS, IT sent an e-mail out to advise the staff that they would deploy MFA to desktop computers which allowed additional security when logging in. While a team member was out of town for training that week, that team member received a call that their backup needed help to get an assignment done. At approximately 8:15 pm one night that week, the team member logged in to no avail due to this new process. As instructed in the e-mail, the team member put in a support ticket. To the team member’s surprise, at 8:40 pm Corey called to assist to get the team member logged in as he knew the importance of the assignment that was needed. While he was on the phone with the team member, five (5) minutes later Josh called and was able to get the team member to log in. The entire time, Corey never hung up to make sure Josh was able to get the issue resolved.
While the matter was not urgent and could have waited, both of these guys chose to assist a co-worker after work hours as soon as they saw the support ticket. Their efficiency, dedication, and support to this agency are to be commended. They are very knowledgeable about all things in technology. They have a high standard of excellence in all that they do and it is clear they take great pride in their work and provide a high level of customer service to all those who ask at the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. Corey and Josh are chosen to be the Civilian Staff Members of the Month.
