Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality is code GREEN, Tuesday, throughout the Triad. A cold front, to the west of the region, will slowly slide across the area, early Wednesday, pushing the cloudy skies out to sea. Clear, but cold weather will return, Wednesday through Friday, as high pressure resumes control of the weather. Particle pollution will remain low and code GREEN Wednesday. As high pressure settles overhead, Thursday and Friday, winds will become lighter, allowing for more air mass stagnation, and higher particle pollution readings. Particle pollution looks to climb into the upper code GREEN or low code YELLOW range, Thursday, and low code YELLOW, Friday (GENTRY).
