Sergeant Duane Wilson Retires

Sergeant Duane Wilson began his Law Enforcement career in 2008 and spent his entire career at the Law Enforcement Detention Center. Sergeant Wilson earned promotions throughout his career, with his most recent promotion to the rank of Sergeant in February 2022. During his career, Sergeant Wilson received twelve letters of commendation. Sergeant Wilson served in the U.S. Marine Corps from November 1980 to July 1986. He also served in the U.S. National Guard (Reserve Duty). Throughout the course of his career, Sergeant Wilson served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center, including the Threat Group, Honor Guard, Health Ambassador, and Field Training Officer. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Sergeant Duane Wilson all the best in his future endeavors.
