Lanterns of Hope 2012

Join us for a celebration of culture, diversity, peace and understanding.

This year's Summer Reading Event has been fabulous and fun and now we are gearing up for a grand finale! We hope to see you at Summer on Trade, a summer event sponsored by Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, where live music happens each Saturday evening on the corner of 6th and Trade Streets in downtown Winston-Salem.

Come and join the fun with Forsyth County Public Library and make Japanese-style Peace Lanterns to promote peace and celebrate the multicultural essence of our community!

Lanterns of Hope and Summer on Trade are both free and open to the public. Look for our Bookmobile and lanterns floating on a bright blue river.

Saturday July 21 2012
7:00 - 9:00 pm
Intersection of 6th and Trade Streets
Downtown Winston-Salem
