Library Introduces Films On Demand

The Library is pleased to announce the addition of Films on Demand to our inventory of online resources. Now you have access to films on everything from anthropology to world religions from noted producers such as A&E, National Geographic, ABC News, the BBC and many more. Plus documentaries from Frontline the History Channel and award winning documentaries from Ken Burns and other documentary filmmakers.

Create special playlists of films of interest to you or select individual segments from films around a particular topic of interest. You can share your selections with others, embed them on web pages and even use accompanying citations for research projects or school work. You can also sign up for e-mail notification of new titles as they are added to the Films on Demand catalog.

There's also a feature that displays a full text transcription of the film's dialog which can also be converted into several different languages if needed and also printed or e-mailed.

Getting started with Films on Demand is easy. Start out on our Online Resources Page , scroll down and click on Films on Demand. Enter your library card number (found on the back of your library card) and you're good-to-go!
