“Looking for America” Concert with Steve Bonham and Rob McHale at Walkertown

Singer-songwriters Steve Bonham from Great Britain and Rob McHale from North Carolina will be performing a joint concert on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. “Looking for America” will explore different perspectives of the American experience through song.

Bonham was born in Derbyshire, England and is a world traveler. He has recorded more than 10 albums and written two musicals and several books while also working as a psychologist. His latest book is “A Beautiful Broken Dream.” Bonham is the author of the Vagabond Philosopher blog and member of the critically acclaimed Long Road band.

McHale is historical songwriter and storyteller based in North Carolina. His songs and stories include folk legends and heroes, moonshine, mountains, the Civil War, and modern social commentary. He has received recognition and awards from Billboard, American Songwriter Magazine, the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival and the Dallas Songwriters Association. His "Prophets on the Boulevard" album landed in the top 100 Folk albums of 2018.
