Forsyth County Animal Shelter has no adoption fees for June

There will be no fees for animals adopted this month from the Forsyth County Animal Shelter on Sturmer Park Circle.

A generous anonymous donation will cover adoption fees for June, which are usually $125 or less for cats and dogs. Those interested in adopting animals can view available cats and dogs and fill out an adoption form on the “Adoptable Animals” page of the Animal Shelter website, forsyth.cc/animalshelter/. They can also visit the shelter, 5570 Sturmer Park Circle, during walk-in hours Thursday-Saturday from 12-4 p.m.

Those interested in adopting animals should bring a valid photo ID and whatever they need to bring their new pet home, such as a leash or kennel. Pet owners are also welcome to bring their pets to see how they get along with the animal they’re interested in adopting.
